Background
Dr. Gulati received her bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from Birmingham-Southern College and graduated cum laude. She earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and graduated with Honors in 2008. Dr. Gulati wanted to pursue additional training in all aspects of dentistry so in 2009 completed a General Practice Residency at UNC Hospitals in Chapel Hill, NC. After practicing in a community health department with children as a general practitioner mostly working with children, she decided to pursue her true passion, pediatric dentistry.
Dr. Gulati was accepted into the pediatric dental residency program at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. During her time there, she was selected as an International Research Center Interdisciplinary Trainee in Special Patient Care. After residency, Dr. Gulati worked in Charlotte for 2 years before moving to Atlanta in 2016. During her time in Charlotte, parents independently selected and voted Dr. Gulati as a top “Mom Approved” Pediatric Dentist for 2015 in the Charlotte Parent Magazine.
Since starting at Atlanta Pediatric Dental Specialists, Dr. Gulati has been nominated and voted as the Top Pediatric Dentist in Atlanta by her peers for 7 years in a row and was recently selected as a “Mom Approved” Pediatric Dentist by her patients.
Educational and Professional Philosophy
Dr. Gulati has a strong passion for treating children with a comprehensive and conservative approach to patient care in a family-friendly and comfortable environment. Dr. Gulati focuses on providing the highest quality of care possible to children, by spending adequate time with each child, as well as, answering any questions or concerns parents may have about their child’s treatment needs.
Dr. Gulati is a Board-Certified Pediatric Laser Dentist with a certification in Basic Life Support, as well as advanced training in Pediatric Advanced Life Support. She constantly seeks to increase her knowledge of pediatric dentistry, taking between 50-100 hours of continuing education courses every year. This allows Dr. Gulati to not only maintain the highest level of patient care but also be on the cutting edge of the best materials, treatment options, and technology available to provide a comfortable and pain-free experience for children.
In her free time, Dr. Gulati enjoys staying active, cooking, traveling, and spending time with her husband and two boys.
